Guard Column Cartridges, RP C4, 5um, 100A. 2.1mm ID x 10mm Length. Cogent Brand. 5/PK.

Additional Information:

Cogent RP C4™ Guard Column Cartridges are designed to protect valuable analytical HPLC columns from particulates, strongly retained compounds, and sample contaminants that can reduce column performance and shorten column life. Packed with the same RP C4™ stationary phase used in Cogent analytical columns, these guard cartridges help maintain method consistency while extending analytical column service life. The stationary phase consists of a four-carbon butyl ligand bonded to ultra-high purity silica and is fully double end capped for reproducible reversed-phase performance.

68504-PG1 is a guard column cartridge set packed with 5 µm RP C4™ particles featuring a 100 Å pore size in a 2.1 mm ID x 10 mm format. Designed specifically to protect 2.1 mm ID RP C4 analytical columns, these cartridges capture particulates and contaminants before they reach the analytical column bed. The cartridges are constructed using stainless steel tubes with stainless steel frits pressed into PEEK frit caps for durability and reliable operation. This package contains five guard column cartridges.

Routine replacement of guard cartridges helps maintain column efficiency, preserve chromatographic performance, and reduce the cost of analytical column replacement. These cartridges are particularly useful for LC-MS methods and other narrow-bore HPLC applications where protecting the analytical column is critical to maintaining method performance.
